Paws Around The World

Saturday, February 16th, 2008 @ 10:42 pm | Dog Charaties

Dogs for the Disabled, a registered charity founded in 1986, trains dogs to help disabled people live life more independently. The dogs are trained in practical tasks such as opening and closing doors, helping a person undress, and even taking the laundry out of the washing machine.

“Since 1986 we have trained over 300 dogs to help disabled people live life more independently. But there are many more people that could be helped by these amazing dogs.”
